We all know that to stop worrying about what others think about us we should destroy negative thinking patterns but why don’t we do it? It’s because something happens inside our heads and this post shows what it is.

critique our behavior in a positive manner, but so many
of us finish up by putting ourselves down.

One of the greatest ways to exercise the inner mind coach is through
chilling out. Maintaining a confident mind-set while times are hard by
visualizing or thinking about something that relaxes you. Take some
time to imagine a favorite place, say like floating on the sea or laying
in your bed, and you will slip into a calmer bodily state of mind.

If you remain positive you can achieve almost anything you set your
mind to, people have been known to move mountains, the mountains in
their head that have become massive road blocks for them. With this
positive frame of mind you will find confidence from within and you
too will be able to move your own mountains.

Stop wasting your time with stuttering cures. Just breathe

As I fast approach the autumn of my years, it is with great relief that I have finally managed to conquer my stuttering; which has plagued me for too long.  Hundreds, probably thousands of dollars wasted on stuttering cures couldn’t help.  All along however, the answer was within me. 

As a fellow stutterer, you are probably all too familiar with the person you are talking to saying, “Calm down, take a breath”.  Whilst anger occasionally raised its ugly head, I often took this as a sign to try to relax.  However, having analyzed this simple advice further, it dawned on me that by breathing well, and maintaining control of my breathing, I could dramatically improve my speech. 

Firstly, take a deep breath before beginning to talk.  Your mouth will be thinking of something else rather than speech, whilst the increased oxygen will help your concentration and relax you.  As you speak, pause appropriately to the speech.  To better understand this, try reading your favorite book out loud, perhaps to friends and family.  Pause at sentence ends, and slightly longer as the paragraphs change. 

Stuttering cures can work for some, but by simply reigning yourself in, you can achieve just as dramatic a success.  Just breathe.

Get More Energy in the Morning with a Nap

Anthony Robbins’ Personal Power II

Quite a few years ago I purchased the Personal Power II Cd set from Anthony Robbins after going to a workshop. Once I got them home I remember being really excited and eager to get started on the program.

Today I have found those Cd’s after moving to a new house, getting married and expecting a baby. I have them on a storage rack in my office. As I took the dust off I noticed that about half of the cd cases are still in their original plastic wrapping.

So young, so eager, so excited… but still never went throught the complete program.
